Coriander

Coriander(dhaniya in hindi) is a spice made out of the round, tan-coloured seeds of the coriander plant (Coriandrum sativum), that’s a member of the parsley family. The word coriander can be used to explain the whole plant: leaves, stems, seeds, and all. But when speakme of coriander, most people are regarding the spice created from the seeds of the plant. The leaves of the plant are commonly called cilantro, which comes from the Spanish word for coriander, or Chinese parsley. Coriander roots also appear in culinary use as a smelly addition to Thai curries. Coriander grows as a local plant around the world, together with Europe, Asia, Africa and inside the Americas.
